Henry VIII Haunt?

This week our copywriting projects have been as varied as ever – they’ve included proof reading quotes, estimates, client letters and emails, as well as providing support with putting together a Heritage Statement. The latter, which is required to accompany planning applications for Listed buildings and heritage assets, was a particularly interesting exercise that delved into the history of the area. It turns out that the village setting of the period property that was the subject of the Heritage Statement (a little like the one pictured), was also believed to be regularly visited by Henry VIII owing to the fact that he reputedly had a mistress living nearby – ooh err! Copywriting projects seemingly never cease to turn up an interesting story – wonder what the Loud Ladybird team will be writing about next week?
